Water Party - We Love 80s & 90s Edition Opening Party 2012 @ Es Paradis
Monday, 28th May , 2012 - From 11:59 PM to 06:00 AM

Ever wondered what happened to the days of leg warmers, side ponytails and shoulder pads?
Well heat up your crimpers and dust down your shell suit as we take you on a journey through 2 decades of music and fashion with ‘We Love the 80s and 90s’ every Monday night at Es Paradis.
Enjoy a nice big slice of nostalgia as our dj´s dedicate a whole night to spinning a bit of magic from 2 of our favourite eras direct from our ghetto blaster dj booth. Then feel like you´ve time warped back in time as our dancers hit the roller boots and go all Jane Fonda on us in seducing lycra.
Completing the ultimate night of retro fun will be a very special edition of or Water Party so expect big tunes, big hair and lots of water as well as a few surprises from the yesteryear which will be sure to take you to ‘back in the day’.
Get ready to ´Relax´and ´Jump Around´ by heading to the dancefloor and showing us your ´Footloose´steps. Because every Monday we´ll be partying like it´s 1999 and when you leave you´ll be sure to be ´dancing in the street´.
For those of you that want to experience the Fiesta Del Agua but do not want to become too friendly with the water you can still watch the action from one our designated dry areas around the club as well as our overlooking balcony.

Es Paradis Ibiza

Es Paradis Terrenal translates as Paradise on Earth and anyone who has stepped inside this beautiful arena will testify to the worthiness of such a title. Like a cross between a Greek temple and a garden centre, this arena is perhaps the most ornate clubbing space on the globe. Established in 1975, Es Paradis is one of the founding fathers of Ibiza clubland, yet it is the notorious water parties held here, combined with its pyramid roof, that make it iconic of Ibiza's extravagant and majestic clubs. Its San Antonio location meant that it was one of the first used by British promoters and in the mid to late 90s saw the likes of Sasha, David Morales, Erick Morillo, Danny Rampling gracing the podium like DJ booth above the small central amphitheatre of a dance floor. Since the dawn of the new millennium, Es Paradis' fall from grace could hardly have been more spectacular, with the exciting nights of the 90s long forgotten, the ubiquitous water parties remain the unique draw but if its cutting edge electronic sounds you seek, then look elsewhere.
