Next to Costa del Sol, Costa Brava boasts with amazing golden beaches, rocky gorges, unspoiled nooks, sheltered coves, and some of the most attractive scenery in the Mediterranean. Certainly the perfect holiday escape.

Costa Brava holidays are best in the summer when the weather is warm and sunny with slightly cooler evenings. Winter is mild and nevertheless enjoyable for there are plenty opportunities for walks and sightseeing. The wild coast offers modern resorts on the shoreline, traditional Spanish villages, colourful annual fiestas, a variety of architecture and a bounty of bars, cafés, museums and art galleries. All are made accessible by good transport links.

The Costa Brava was the home of the world-famous Spanish artist, Salvador Dali. It is well worth a trip to Port Lligat where you can explore his home. Possible days out can include a trip to Barcelona, the Pyrenean Principality of Andorra or the monastery of Montserrat.
