Biography

AfflictionDJ, real name Shane Cody, was Born 1981 in the UK. Following in his Fathers footsteps, AfflictionDJ, also known on the club scene as DJ 187 has been djing since the age of 11 and professionally since 18. His family had their own nightclub in which AfflictionDJ was resident. He went on to go through Europe getting experience and to help push his carreer when back in the UK. At the age of 23, he was resident on Saturdays at Cafe de Paris in London with support acts. From the age of 24, he took a step back from the scene to run the family nightclub where he was known as the resident DJ and promoter bringing in big acts for the local county. The club has since been sold as he commented on his website that he, “missed the scene and the crowds, so decided to go back to what he loved”. I cant comment on whether he is a producer as well as have not heard of any tracks. According to his website, their is a tour coming in 2010
