alexander maier was born '74 in stuttgart. he started his career playing underground techno. over the years he became more and more influenced by detroit and chicago house, so he quit the techno - or better to say tekkno - stuff in 1994 and became one of the few local house djs in stuttgart.

today alex is one of the most popular and (inter-)nationally booked djs of stuttgart's deep-, minimal-, tech- & electrohouse-scene.

his single l.e.a., released in june 2005 on exun records, caused trouble on dancefloors worldwide and got charted by many recom-mended djs such as ben watt, fafa monteco, david duriez & linus.

in march 2006 alexander's last quality production "e.m.o." was released on exun records. simple yet effective, and played by the likes of carl craig, laurent garnier, dj linus and phonique.


due to some changes on exun records alexander found new homebases to supply the scene with his soulful & deep productions.

he has been very proud to sign to buzzin' fly in 2007, the label of ben watt (everything but the girl).
"road of injury" which has been released in january '07 & came with another great track "made in nebraska". this 12" caused a lot of trouble in the whole scene and has been featured in magazines like dj mag, m8, update or touch and entered the cool cuts charts as well as the playlists of ben watt, laurent garnier, sasse, stefan mandrax, layo, paulette and many more. this piece of deep-house for electronic lovers also ente-red the top3 techno downloads on the well known beatport.com online-store for electronic music.


not lazy at all his track "tom" released summer '07, a very warm, soulful and trancey anthem has been featured by the covermount cd of the "dj magazine" / april issue mixed by ben watt.

after a remix work late 2007, he joined the mood music family in autumn 2008. his latest single "sahara rain" has been released in october 2008 with a remix from his mate mazi aka audio soul project.

after some changes in his life and sorting out some things in his mind, he had an creative break mid 2008. but 2009 is going to be a hot year for this guy.
