Who are they?

We are One: David Amo and Julio Navas are one of the most well known DJ/producer teams within the Electronic Music genre.

Amo + Navas's career began at the early age of 16. Since then they have worked hard to grow and keep growing professionally - which has made them meticulous and respected DJs.

Thanks to long-term residences at some of the most prestigious clubs, as well as uncountable sets as invited artists at international events such as Creamfields, Sunrise Festival (Poland), Moots Festival (Mexico), Fineplay (Japan) and Kaballah (Brasil), and performing on parties for brands such as Burn, Technics, and Peugeot, they have gained all the experience on the turntables needed in order to create something truly magic in clubs and at festivals all over the globe (including Germany, Bulgaria, Brazil, Columbia, Korea, United Arab Emirates, France, Netherlands, Italy, Japan, Morocco, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, USA and naturally all of Spain). Playing on NYE 2010 in Rio de Janeiro Beach for 1 Million people.

David and Julio are frequenters of the Ibiza nights and have also been headhunted by some of the most important clubs on the white island: Amnesia Ibiza, Space Ibiza and Privilege, proving their skills, as always, to the most demanding audiences.

Background

Ever since they started producing, Amo + Navas have always been working in their very own studio - The Sensations Lab.

Currently, they are the owners and head managers of Fresco Records which, according to critics, is one of the most innovative labels within Electro House Music. They have been awarded several international prizes for their work.

Amo + Navas are Ableton Live sponsored artists and collaborate with Ecler DJ Division, as they are part of the Pro Team (a handpicked group which consists of professional international DJs), in which the following DJs also participate: Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, John Acquaviva, Antoine Clamaran, Funk D'Void, Satoshi Tomiie, Francesco Farfa, Chus, Kaskade, Mirko Loko, DJ Hell, Remy and Michael Mayer.

Creative concept

We are One can be described as a creative concept put together using only the newest technologies in order to get the most out of Amo + Navas's musical skills - not to mention their original stage production.

By using two interconnected laptops linked to different external controllers, their DJing is instantly taken to a higher level, as it gives them the opportunity to create totally unique and innovative sessions, and allows for improvisation as well as performing music 100= live and direct.

Amo + Navas's are used to a kind of audience that is not satisfied with just regular dance music made for the masses. Their energetic sets are full of life and sensual sounds of Electronic House, something which makes this team a safe choice for any kind of dance floor.

Amo + Navas productions have been licensed by record companies worldwide (including Universal Music, EMI, Ministry of Sound, Armada, Toolroom, Ultra, Kontor & Vale Music), and have always been included in CD compilations of prestigious DJs, as well as remixed by important producers such as Steve Angello & Sebastián Ingrosso, Wally López, Taito Tikaro and Andrea Bertolini.

Amo + Navas have also pulled through big projects with artists such as John Acquaviva and D-Nox & Beckers, as well as remixes for David Guetta ('Love is Gone'), DJ Tocadisco ('Better Begin'), Robbie Rivera ('Closer to the sun'), Adam K ('You're not alone'), Rinocerose ('Get Ready Now'), Trentemoller ('Rykketid'), D-Formation & Prompt ('Inbound'), etc.

The remix of the track 'Sofa King' done by Amo + Navas is used in the new car game Midnight Club Los Angeles by Rockstar, released very recently.
