
Former artist Andrés Bucci began producing music in 1996 while living in Germany. "Influenced by the electronic scene of Berlin. He met Jimi Tenor at the Tacheles, an important Art Center where A. Bucci rented a studio. Together, they worked on some tunes that left them quite satisfied, making Andrés realize that he was able to produce music that could be released.
During a short trip to Chile he got in touch with his old friend Christian Powditch, Guillermo Ugarte and the Argentinean Gustavo Ceratti creating his first musical project: Plan V. They recorded jam sessions that were released by Background, a local record label, which turned out a great success and opened the electronic musical scene in Chile to major audiences. In 1997 Andrés spent three months in Cape Town, South Africa where he participated in several raves and parties. From there he left to Argentina to produce a second Plan V Album after the great success of the first one.
This time they worked with the British producer Black Dog. By 1998 Plan V had become very popular an influenced both Chilean and Argentinean musical scenes. They participated in different festivals and performed in the most important clubs in Santiago and Buenos Aires Ozono, Inrockuptible Festival, La Recoleta Art Center, Santiago Mondo Club, Planet, among others.
In the mean time, A. Bucci continued working on a solo carrier under the alias Chord, performing his musical development in the Chilean and Argentinean scenes, playing regularly at Club La Feria, La Casa Club and Microman events.
In 1999 Martin Schopf's (Berlin based Chilean musician, aka Dandy Jack) record label, Ruta 5 invited him to participate in the Austral project: a compilation of Chilean artists such as Atom Heart, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano and Daniel Nieto, released by Payola record label.
In 2000, A. Bucci was invited by Berlin's Bethanien Art Center to curate a Chilean art exhibition. Not only did he present a wonderful selection of Chilean art, but he also integrated it with music, performing himself, sharing stage with the Germans Stereo Total and Silvesterboy (Golden Citronen). During 2001 Andrés released an excellent debut record as Chord, titled Monochord. He also released many remixes for important local artists such as Original Hamster, Panico, Bitman & Roban and Gustavo Ceratti. He continued playing live in Chile and Argentina.
In 2002, A. Bucci met Kate Simko, a music student from Chicago, and started the Detalles project releasing the stunning "Shapes of summer" album for the German label Traum and "Microsmorning" for Kupei Musika, USA in 2007.
In 2003 Chord performed at the MicroMutek festival in Valparaiso and released an EP under his new project Bucci along with his brother Pier (aka Mambotur, MonneAutomne, Pier Bucci) for the German WMF record label. Their debut reached the eighth position in the de:Bug magazine charts with their track Dude and performed in several of Berlin's clubs. During the same year, Bucci appeared in the Canción Electrónica compilation from Indice Virgen Records (Argentina) and the Colores Compilation from Mil Records, Mexico.
In 2004 Detalles performed at the Mutek Festival in Chile. According to URB magazine, the project this year was considered one of the "next 100 most influential bands of the year" in the US.
2005 Bucci is invited to perform at Mutek Festival in Canada. His set received excellent reviews.
From this point Bucci started to perform frequently in clubs around Europe.
In 2007 released the his solo ep Chocopanda. As Bucci performed in Raum Club Barcelona, part of the promotion of the Cynosure Label, then in Synch Festival in Greace, Watergate Club in Berlin. With Detalles Performed at Mutek Festival in Canada, and later on Worldtronics Festival in Der Hause der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, along other international artist from Israel, Japan, Senegal. Performed at Panorama Bar Berlin and Watergate Club part of the promotion of "Andrés Bucci-Avec Style" EP for Horizontal Label, owned by another Chilean producer Dinky.
In 2008 performed at Watergate Club, Weekend club in Berlin and Unit Club in Tokyo-Japan, T-Bar London.
Today Bucci is working on his second EP for the Horizontal Label " Disco Sour " to be soon release.
