Arno Cost

Music has always fascinated Arno. At a very early age his parents immersed him in pop music and disco; and he first began producing back in 1999 in his bedroom. His influences & inspiration include all manner of music from Disco, Italo-Disco, to "The French Touch" (Daft Punk, Benjamin Diamond, Alan Braxe, Philip Zdar etc.) .

Arno Cost is today one of world's most talented up-and-coming music producers and djs. Discovered in January 2006 by Serial Records, who signed him along with two of his friends: Norman Doray and Pierre de la Touche.

Their collaboration together on the release "Let U Go" quickly became a smash hit on French radio stations, and among many leading international djs.

In 2006, Arno remixed the Geyster's tune 'Under the Fuse of Love' which is immediately played by Pete Tong and soared to second place in the UK club charts where it saw success for several weeks. Later that year, Arno produced some remixes for Serial Crew (Boss), another for Da Sushiman (Ledge Music), and covered the well-known Michael Jackson classic "Thriller" ("Rilod" - Nice Music).

However, Arno truly defines his style with the hit track "Magenta," composed alongside Arias (who originally signed with Serial Record, then with Kontor, CR2, and Airplay). Their song garnered support from some of the top dj talent in the world including Pete Tong, Tiesto, Eric Prydz, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso... First released during December 2006 in Germany, it became the most-played tunes at "The Amsterdam Dance Event." Coupled with a storming mix by Dave Spoon the track reached dizzying heights and was definitely THE track of 2007.

One year later, his track Apocalypse, made with his friend Norman Doray is played everywhere, with, once again, a massive support from all the worldwide biggest djs and radio stations...
He takes advantage of all these successes to make some remixes for David Guetta, Dirty South, Laidback Luke and for labels like Ministry Of Sound or Joia.

Arno's new projects "Golden Walls" produced with John Dahlback and "Souvenir" are already big tracks, and his new remix for Zoo Brazil, made with Norman Doray is a club anthem, played and supported by David Guetta, Tiesto, Axwell, Steve Angello, Benny Benassi...

Arno Cost is currently in the studio fashioning new sounds. New tracks & Remixes are coming soon...Stay tuned!!
