Influenced by his father's love of music since childhood Claus was exposed to a large record collection including jazz, rock, blues and classical. Now a qualified Architect whose works are used in projects including web design, advertisement and flyers for high profile clients, it was in his early 20's that an Architectural career opportunity led Claus to London where he was exposed to the vibrant clubbing scene and the music that makes it tick.

His artistic yet structured approach to expressionism crosses over from architecture into dj'ing and production, dedicating himself tirelessly to music research and the philosophies and components of sound structure. The result; an artist who although not ‘long term' in sense of years, has an ever increasing catalogue of knowledge, taste and skill providing what appears to be a long road ahead of him. A constantly evolving ear adds to his progression as producer; a recent vinyl remix release on Brazilian Trama Records was highly praised and noted by Brazilian DJ Mag as an absolute killer. Claus continues to work in the studio on solo projects and collaborations with a series of other artists. Fearless and defiant to trends and hype, Voigtmann is defining himself day by day as an artist that will go from strength to strength.
