
Cristiano Balducci is one of the most polyhedric artist in Italy, well appreciated dj of Rome, greatest producer with his creativity, technique and cosmopolitan style. A citizen of the world, born in Rome, starts his dj career in 1989: it’s acid house, breakbeat and the first techno from Detroit time, but his debut is entirely based on hip hop culture and consequently towards the evolution of scratch technique. By this phase, a great passion born for the first “electro music”, music that he still follows nowadays.
In the early 90’s he takes part as guests on the most important raves in Italy and abroad, the crowd loves him, especially in England, Holland, Germany, Spain, China and South America. In 1995 his first record called “This is not the End” has been released, so he’s producer career starts, but it is in 1997 that, together with the unforgettable Mauro Tannino (R.I.P.), founds “Killer Clown Records”, an underground label by which other releases are born, i.e. lucky songs like “20 minutes of Fear” loved and supported by important international Dj’s.
From 1998 to 2000 he released some remixes both for rock groups and for electronic musicians passing through several labels as Epic Sony Music. In 2003, he starts taking part of the Milanese team of H*Plus that publishes three electro-Detroit style e.p.’s widely appreciated by the underground movement. In 2004, he founds “FruitOfTheLoop” Records, a label born as a free platform outside the record business circuit. Later on he realized part of the soundtrack for a movie entitled “Amatemi!”. 2006, a new e.p. called “Open All Night” he’s going to be released by Modelisme Records of Marseille, France.
