2006AD: HAL looks down from his lunar station dedicating his waking hours to the high art of dance music production. As he sits in his studio, his nimble fingers working his 9000 series process unit to the max, he seeks inspiration from the celestial view.
Tirelessly working on the scientific exploration of human frequency response to unlock the secrets of future world harmony, he takes time out each lunar cycle, to return to earth and entertain his ever-growing army of fans.
Whilst performing, DJ HAL journeys through a world of electronic beats that leaves few stones unturned. Eclectic, but still focused with the skill to maintain dance floor intensity, he takes the assembled masses on a journey of electro acid discovery. His ultra positive attitude and boundless energy are effortlessly transferred to his audience via the music, creating magical moments of delirious joy and inspiration.
Breakbeats and House are both common place on his dance floor, carefully woven together in a fusion unique to HAL. He knows that it is essential to create an exotic and intoxicating blend of rhythms that defies the gravity of closed minds. There is ancient wisdom in a message that will shape an enlightened future vision… “Free your ass and your mind will follow.”
DJ HAL’s energy, and elation inducing turntable antics, are already spreading across Europe and America, and threatening to encompass the world. For it is his ability to mesmerise with his musical invasion of the senses, that is proving irresistible wherever he lands.
Unleashing a mind-blowing, hip-shaking, blend of electro funk and acid house, he is inspirational and somewhat sexy, whilst everything he touches is stirred with a healthy dose of soul. He is a man on a mission, an Earth Odyssey with the sole intention to make you dance. A simple yet so important message that whispers… can you see the light? You are advised to catch him if you can !
HAL’s sights are set even higher for the future, with soundtracks, his own label, and interplanetary travel all in the pipeline. In the meantime watch out for forthcoming EP’s on Carl Cox’s INTEC label, and various other releases on labels of quality and distinction worldwide.
