Ivan-Lloyd aka (Ngamla -Ivy) one of South Africa’s most up and coming DJ’s, his artistic talent naturally fills the Dance floor’s within minutes from all race and cultures.

Growing up in south Africa ,he was born and bred in Pretoria, and moved to a little town called Nelspruit with his mother at the age of nine ten, here he was introduced to the world of music and started playing at home as a bed room DJ. And moved on to playing at private functions and big event such as ‘’H20’’ and vireos township’s and night Club’s around the Mpumalanga & Gauteng area such as Casablanca / Cofi / Roxys / Sutra / Chili lounge / Malabo / Ground level / Liquid lounge / Bourbon street / B52 / Inferno / Corona café / Drop zone Voodoo Lounge & News café’s around the Mpumalanga and Gauteng area and has Done ALTI MIX’s For DJ Fresh’s show on 5FM and has played LIVE on 5FM for the {ALIVE WITH THE POWER OF 5FM} on Catherin’s show. and would like to play in Ibiza Miami & the Love Parade.

He’s all so competed in many different battle of the DJ’s competition’s and performs as TOP-DECK GROOVE with aka Sterra on live percussions and me Ngamla/Ivy on the deck’s. he all so host a show called Essential Deep House Sundays which runs from 10am to 6pm from local to international artists on the show, on soundrepublic which is an on line dance web radio station & all so has a two hour show on Mondays which is hosted by me Ivy & Rick-E from 12-2 PM which is called BEAT-ROUTE, as well as rowing soundrepublic events. While playing at News Café in Nelspruit for the pre party to a local radio station in Nelspruit called lgwalagwal FM, a promoter one of many by the name of Bright Mazsuku ‘’BLACK GROUND ENTERTANMET ‘’ saw the potential en this Dee jay and as such he was introduced to the African consumer market and was invited to perform at the 2nd wedding reception for Matthews Posa’s daughter in Katlegong JHB.

Thus the name ’’NGAMLA ‘’ was born – the crowd just loved him and started the chant of Ngamla, Ngamla, Ngamla, And the rest as they say – is history. And has since played alongside Durban’s Finest - (Sox – Tira) DJ Fresh, DJ Sdunkero, DJ Bongs, Dino Bravo & the guys from Soul Candi and as Ivy / Lady Lea / Ricardo Da Costa / Cecil Mac / Andy McMurdo / Louis / Dave Skins / Andy Dill / Bart Marley and Many more top DJ’s.
