Biography:

Dan McKie manages to defy the cliché of genres by producing across the board, be it a underground techno, tech house monster to a peak time commercial house dance chart track.

He continues to remix the likes of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Lady GaGa, David Guetta, Colton Ford, Zimbardo, Dom Kane, on such labels as Joia, Positiva, Warner Bros, Sony, Universal, Columbia, Gusto, EMI, Newstate, RCA/BMG, Simply Recordings, Slip & Slide, and his own imprint 1980 Recordings.

Dan runs 3 record labels, 1980 Recordings, Boom!boxx Records & Ginger Trax. 1980 recordings has seen releases from Tim Andresen (Southern Fried / Professional Losers), Sebastian Davidson (Be Your Self / Whoop), Bart B More (Toolroom / CR2 / Stealth), and himself, Dan McKie. The Label just keeps growing with more huge tracks in the Pipeline from the likes of Andy Morris (Narcotic Thrust), Matt Samuels (Toolroom / CR2) & Abigail Bailey (Tom Novy, Freemasons), Steve Haines (Hed Kandi).
