With tracks ‘Micro Pig’ and ‘Say that’ already getting support from the likes of  Paco Osuna, Deepgroove, DJ Vibe, Guy J, Jerome Ism-ae, Paulo Mojo, Marc Antonio, Alan Fitzpatrick and more, adding to that he has dates set as the Irish support act for Sander Van Doorn’s ‘Dusk til Doorn’ UK & Ireland tour, it’s safe to say DJ and Producer David De Valera has had a good year.

After making an impression when playing support for Doorn in Dublin in the latter part of 2008, De Velara was specifically requested by Doorn to bring his unique sound/style to the ‘Dusk til Doorn’ experience.

David De Valera exemplifies a new generation of Irish DJs. Operating in the same house / techno scene as his international peers, De Valera’s style incorporates a mix of pumping house and party techno, which is what stood out to Doorn;

“He liked the way my style was completely different to his, he was tired of having trance DJ’s programmed to warm up his crowd, it took away form the whole Doorn experience and he wanted to mix it up, I’m very intuitive behind the decks and in the studio so even though my style is separate to Doorn’s it still exiting for the crowd”

David De Valera has been working in the electronic music scene for over 8 years including running a number of successful nights in some of the most prestigious clubs in Dublin, after recently getting signed by record label ‘Club 66’ and ‘Ananas Recordings’ and with two more tracks due for release before the close of the year, an upcoming tour and a date to play The Ministry of Sound in London, De Valera looks set to continue his success breaking into the international scene and becoming a solid household name.

Space pig the label launched in September with producers Christain Viviano and Anueria onboard it’s set to be big!
