As a teenager he starting his career with LIVE appearances at infamous NYC landmarks like Danceteria, Limelight and the Chase before getting his first deal as a founding member of Prototype909 in 1993. P909 known for their improvisational techniques and legendary live shows, performed around the globe while gaining a cult following in the US. More collaborations with fellow 909 member Taylor Deupree(now in the nano sound sculptor circles) and the odd core group The Rancho Relaxo Allstars took Dietrich on more curves in his music career. 1997 saw putting the days of dragging cases of studio gear thru airports on hold, Hidden Agenda was formed with hourless studio sessions and proper DJ sets. Solo recordings spread to other labels and the next phase was set. Tracks like 'Makers'(Hidden Agenda001), '19 Bullets'(ending track on CD#1 from Danny Tenaglia's 'London CD) and 'Shine'(re-released on Erick Morillo's Sondos label) are some of his highlights. Represented by Cocoon in Germany(Sven Vath) Dietrich continues the pace.
