Egbert's passion for music started in 1994 after listening to some tracks a friend made with ST3 music software. He took a copy of the program back home and started making music at the age of nine. Over the years he was mainly influenced by such artists as Radiohead, Pete Namlook, Murcof, Secret Cinema and Marco Carola.
Being the music lover that he is, he visited parties regularly from an early age. He would take CD's containing his productions and beg DJ's to play his songs. When a friend handed him a Mauro Picotto CD, he was first introduced to techno. It was love at first sight and soon Egbert was producing his own techno. His first release, "Stroom EP" was released in march 2008 on Lo-Fi Soul Recordings. After listening to Egbert's tracks on Myspace Jeroen ‘Secret Cinema' Verheij was convinced the young producer had a lot of talent and invited him to join his agency. After spending some time in the studio with Verheij, he was soon performing impressive live sets at the ‘Secret Cinema Invites' events. The next step was the release of his second EP ‘Vlammen' on Michel de Hey's EC-records in February of 2009. With a number of quality productions lined up to be released in 2009 he is currently one of Holland's most promising artists.
