Born in Tuscany in 1974, surrounded by his father's massive vinyl collection, Francesco Rossi's life could not have been separated from music. He was still very young when his great interest for instruments turned into a deep passion and for his 14th birthday he asked for two record players and a mixing console. From that moment onwards he made his debut in the music system.

Francesco Rossi's career as a DJ has started at "Le Mirage" in Tuscany, one of the foremost clubs in this region where the greatest Italian DJs still rule the roost today.

Later on he moved to Milan to be closer to different music scenes and genres. There he took precious opportunities to work with many prestigious international radio stations that opened many new doors for him in the music system.

Being very fond of analog synth he has started building his culture on them and buying many different kinds from vintage synth to the last ones on the market. Because of his keen interest in all the facets and diversity of electronic, he has begun to produce his own records.

With his first productions he has entered the world of music business and has made his name known outside Italian borders too.

By now, his constantly developing discography includes original productions, compilations and remixes. His best known hits are played on Italy's most popular radio and by prestigious DJs too.

Francesco Rossi's achievements do not stop here and extend far beyond his home country, where he has already played all over the most important clubs and events. He has been touring around Europe with dates in a number of international clubs and also at the biggest European music fests such as the Swiss Street Parade.

Francesco Rossi also spends several nights a year commanding the decks on international ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL nightclubbing circuit including the Amnesia at Ibiza.

He made his overseas debut at the ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL 2007 in Miami at the Collective Arena. This huge experience was followed by his appointment as resident DJ for all the ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL events worldwide and the following year he performed at the Bayfront Live Stage. In 2009 then, he played on the Main Stage of the UMF and, having gained the respect of a large US audience, he has joined the prestigious team of the "UMF 2010" on the Main Stage again.

His innate spirit of research leads him to compare with new sounds always looking for contaminations from different music genres. All his DJ sets are permeated by dynamic energy that lets Francesco Rossi's public feel his immense passion for music and drive them to incredible enjoying evenings.

His personal style is aimed to create events that are unique, special and most of all unpredictable every time.

He is currently working on his first album which is expected to be launched by 2010.

Francesco Rossi is to be considered a complete artist: he excels as producer, remixer and radio DJ too, as he leads a famous radio program called "Respect DJs". Despite his international success he has remained a sympathetic man whose worldwide gigs, natural energy, charm and agreeable personality lead him to be highly acclaimed.
