Young, powerful and talented – that is DJ Farid. Living in the cosmopolitan city of Alexandria (Egypt) his style of music expierenced a wide range of multi-cultural influences. In the late 90’s DJ Farid began his career in the Egyptian music scene as DJ and sound engineer for national as well as international groups. These experiences and his passion for the music he was listening to encouraged him to produce his own style of electronic music. Classical arabic sounds, bedouin drums, Oud as well as Flamenco guitar solos are an integral part of his sounds. Mixed with Electronic Beats, House and Minimal they define the uniqueness of DJ Farid’s music.
