Felipe Venegas was born in Santiago, Chile in 1979.
He first discovered electronic music in the '90's and having learned Latin percussion and rhythm instruments, classical guitar and composition, Felipe studied Contemporary Music at the city's Madre e Maestra Pontifical Catholic University.
Here he learned the language of classical music traditions, and found himself experimenting with different musical influences and the introduction of electronics to the traditional forms he had come to love, as well as the development of an inspiring live set.
Since the turn of the millennium he's been entertaining the crowds of Chile's clubs and festivals, having shared a stage with the likes of Massive Attack and Human League, as well as Tobi Nuemann, Dinky, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Tania Vulcano and Argenis Brito.
Felipe's music synthesizes an organic, personal and scholarly musical concept, the ongoing narrative of one enthralled with ever intensifying musical experiences - his current sound encompasses work ranging from big room tech house floor fillers to more sublime afterhours electronica.
His debut vinyl release comes courtesy of Immigrant Records, with remix from Michal Ho - impressive credentials and the sounds to back it up make Felipe's a burgeoning talent to observe.
