6 years of artistic career confirm her as a natural musical talent. In this short period she has established herself as an artist with a relevant position in the international electronic music scene. This young chilean woman, who resides in Barcelona, travels constantly through Spain, Europe & America delivering her powerful sound and elegant technique. Minimal, techno, house, acid, electro…ingredients of her style that plays with micro-sounds, effects and loops creating sophisticated music full of groove and power, transmiting a unique energy and personal touch that rocks the dancefloor in each set. She has become a regular guest dj in many top european clubs such as: Harry Klein Club (Münich), Cine Colibri & Zapata Club (Stuttgart), Batofar (Paris), Club Q, Kaufleuten, Dachkantine & Hive (Zürich), N.E.M.O. (Brussells), Pachá (Ibiza), Space (Ibiza), Club Metro (Alicante), Sala Fónica & Menta (Mallorca)…in her city, Barcelona, she has played at all the important venues: Loft, Moog, Fellini, Macarena, La Terrazza, City Hall, etc…abroad she has taken part in festivals such as: Stock 5 Monsters of House Festival @ Die Registratur (Münich, 2005 & 2007), Solotech (Salamanca, 2006) & FIMA (Leon, 2007). In such clubs & festivals she has shown her quality as a promising new talent beside artists like Nôze, Marc Houle, Ellen Allien, Sascha Funke, Paul Kalkbrenner, Mark Broom, Losoul, Ricardo Villalobos, Paco Osuna, Davide Squillace, Swat-Squad, Guy Gerber, Daniel Stefanik, John Tejada, Hell, Alexander Kowalski, Alex Under, Barem, Lee Van Dowski, Marc Marzenit, Pascal F.E.O.S., Technasia, Oscar Mulero, Ben Sims, DJ Rush… 2007 was her year of consecration and consolidation in the Spanish & European circuit. She has passed through many of the most important clubs of the moment: Tresor (Berlin), Barraca (Valencia), Harry Klein (Münich), Metro Club (Alicante), Ready! Electroclub, Deep & Mimética (Madrid), Artsaia Disco (Navarra), Velvet Underground (Gran Canarias), Albeniz Club (Gijón), Tonstudio (Stuttgart)…. With her dj career going forward, this year Fernanda is now focusing on taking the next step in becoming an electronic music producer. She has started to collaborate with Barcelona-based Leichtklang Recordings and will release her first remix as Fernanda Diaz en June. Also, during the same month she will release another remix on Deep Class Records. Both ep's will be distributed wordwide in digital format on Beatport, Juno, Djdownload, Trackitdown, etc...Together with her friend Felipe Valenzuela (Chile) she will release her first ep on vinyl as "Rokit-F!!" on Luxaflex in October 2008. The "Rokit_f!!" project has received support from many well-known artists such as Dandi & Ugo, Inxec, Alejandro Vivanco, Cio D'or, Mihalis Safras, Alecs Marta, Pablo Bolívar, Monomachine. With these projects and others to be announced, this year we will finally be able to see what she has prepared for us...the magic and the energy that she shows as a dj will be shaped into her first musical productions.
