Folker Zwart was born in the year 1986 in Tiel, the Netherlands. 22 years after his birth he moved from Tiel to the city of Amsterdam. Throughout the years Folker’s style has changed a lot. Whereas in the past he was more into funky (Tribal) Techno, nowadays he mainly plays a filthy mix of rough and dark minimal/ techno. The tracks he chooses for his performances are perfect to create a floating a...nd rolling beat which releases lots of energy and is a guarantee for a frenzied audience. His sound is a mixture of strong swinging basslines and freaky sounds up to melodious parts. Nevertheless, his sets are always tuned to feel like he is telling you a story. “When the sum of two or more tracks mixed up together is bigger than the parts, that's the art of mixing”.

These days Folker organizes his own parties, called 'Toeters en Bellen' and 'Schwung'. He had the idea to throw some cool techno parties with liveshows and experimental theater. Folker has played at big events such as Dance Valley and Free Your Mind festival and in clubs like Paradiso, Doornroosje, Sugar factory, Poema and Winkel van Sinkel. Furthermore, he is part of the bookings agency Switch Music.

Folker’s goal is to reach a great audience with his music. “It’s awesome to be able to share music with an audience that really enjoys your performance”. Folker’s big dream is to release his own productions in the near future. After 4 years of experience and inspiration the time has come to enter new decade. Folker Zwart is coming for y’all!
