Born in Sofia, the capitol of Bulgaria in the early 80's, he is fascinated by the music from young age. Collecting tapes and vinyl records as a teenager, he started as Dj just 16 years old when he plays at some small clubs and bars in Plovdiv - the second biggest city in the country, where he moves to live with his parents. Only two years later he wins a prize for Best New Dj of Bulgaria and the story begins...

Nowadays GROOVE is a Dj and producer with over fourteen years of experience behind the decks, and one of the top names at the Bulgarian house and techno scene. He has played at the best clubs and party destinations in the country, including Mania, Plazma, Opium (Plovdiv), Chervilo, Bedroom... sharing the booth with artists such as: Wally Lopez, Dj Chus, Peter Bailey, Mark Knight, Sergio Fernandez, James Lavelle, Remo, Dusty Kid and many others. During his extensive career he has got international gigs at destinations like Brazil, England, Macedonia. He is also well known as one half of the popular in Bulgaria duo Iv ! & Groove. Together with his partner they are authors of the legendary INSOMNIA parties, which for the fifth year now shake down the best local clubs.

In the past two years Groove has producing and remixing tracks for labels like: Ellectrica Recordings, Cloning Sound and Kote Records, which receive support from some top artists on the global house scene. In the beginning of 2011 he released track named Carnavale De La Habana, coproduction with one of the most talented Bulgarian producers Dimo. It becomes a total hit in Bulgarian clubs and it is played by many of the local DJs.

From big clubs and massive arenas to small intimate clubs and bars his DJ sets are renowned for being precision tuned perfectly for the venue and time of night. With his impressive skills behind the decks and perfect track selection, Groove takes his audience on an extraordinary musical journey, from deep/ tech house to techno and back again, vocals, organic percussions and ethno elements always present.
