HANNAH HOLLAND BIOG: HANNAH HOLLAND BIOG 2007 East London's notorious DJ/producer and Trailer Trash resident Hannah Holland is a self-confessed 'bass junkie'. Last year saw Hannah spinning around the world at some amazing gigs, such as a mini tour of Berlin with her night Batty Bass, Space in Ibiza, TDK and Field Day Festival in London and Exit festival in Serbia to a crowd of 20, 000 sharing a bill with legend Frankie Knuckles! Plus the release of her first remix for Spektrum's Kinda New, which recently went to no.1 in the djdownload charts.
2008 is set to be another mammoth year, as she has joined forces with Decked Out agency, which is also home to Switch, Carl Craig and Erol Alkan.
Her signature dirty, bass heavy, jackin electro, tech house, breaks sound, which Hannah decribes as "Batty Bass" - a diverse musical mix- was gathered while growing up in South London on a diet of jungle, blines and bounce!
Hannah started her "groundbreaking" residency at weekly cult electro night Trailer Trash four years ago, which went onto to become one of London's "most respected underground night". Trailer Trash have hosted a series of infamous raves in venues such as a medieval prison, an ex transvestite brothel, a boat chugging up the Thames and disused Quick-Fit garage, as well as its weekly packed to the rafters night in the heart of Shoreditch.
Hannah is also a regular fixture at Bugged Out!, and is just as likely to be caught playing at Fabric as she is in some hidden away warehouse party in the East End.
As well as many more UK and worldwide gigs, Hannah continues to work on material in the studio for releases in 2008. Plus expect more mayhem from her own Bastard Batty Bass parties and the start of her new label Batty Bass records.
