Jay started DJing at the age of 15 and within three years he was up with the best known Irish DJs such as Fergie, Mark Kavanagh and Mr Spring. He held his first residency at 17 in Club USI, a 1000 capacity Dublin hotspot, where he had to leave the club after his set as the main guest arrived as he was under age. At 18, after only one year of playing to crowds he was pinched by Temple Theatre for Space, the award winning club night at the award winning venue. Space was the legendary night at The Temple Theatre, where he played alongside stars such as Armin, Marco V, Anne Savage, Lisa Lashes, Ferry Corsten, BK, Scott Project, Mauro Picotto, Judge Jules and The Tidy Boys. Being a resident at Space was what every DJ in Ireland dreamed of, because of this his DJ profile took him to play every club large and small both in Northern and Southern Ireland. He has played The Coach, The Met, South, Enigma, Love, Trinity Rooms, Red Box, and Network. Some of the DJ highlights of Jay’s career have been playing at some impressive festivals, such as the Northern Ireland Festival’s Planet Love 2001, Love 2002 & 2003. Jay also had the honour of headlining the Hard Dance tent at Creamfields Ireland 2002
The Radio Presenter: Jay went on to land the managerial role at Dublin’s biggest radio station Kiss 105.8fm, where he also hosted his own show, and became a voice of hard dance to Irish listeners.
