He was born and raised in Germany and is still based in the vibrant metropolis Cologne. Kid Chris travels the world - always bringing good music and happiness with him. Kid Chris is there, where the party is. With his inimitable and pushing sound, he animates and excites every party crowd all over the globe. Partying with pure pleasure. He already played alongside the most celebrated names of the scene like Erick Morillo, Deep Dish, Fedde le Grand, Carl Cox, David Guetta, Barbara Tucker and countless other great artists and legends.

His story of being a professional Dj began in 2002 when the legendary and successful event “In Bed with Space” was founded by Mind Group owner Ceto Geray. In Bed with Space has its Wednesday morning residency at one of the world’s most famous clubs, Space / Ibiza, voted as the best global club four times already!
At In Bed with Space, Kid Chris presents his sound on the terrace of Space. The original party from Ibiza is more than successful all over the world. Today it´s also one of the most popular clubtours worldwide and has visited the best clubs on every continent on planet earth. As a young Kid, he had the opportunity to have international influences of all kinds of music. Hip Hop, RnB, Jazz, Soul and of course electronic music. This mixture of music impressed him and he started to give people his own definition of housemusic. In fact he started djing in the age of 12 years. This is how the name Kid Chris was born. His debut track “South Beach” is supported by many Dj’s like Paul van Dyk, Roger Sanchez, Eddie Thoneick, Micha Moor, Jonathan Ulysses and many more . “South Beach” found it´s way to the playlists of many other celebrity Dj´s all over the globe.
In 2002 he met vocal house legend Barbara Tucker. Together they teamed up for club gigs with Barbara Tucker’s live vocal performance and Kid Chris’ Dj set during the infamous In Bed with Space Worldtour. Gigs on the WMC, Streetparade or at Space Ibiza and as well at Pacha (Marrakech) or the Chillout Club in Luanda (Angola/ Africa).
In October 2008, the new mix compilation “In Touch With Ibiza” will be in stores worldwide with a playlist of the biggest Ibiza anthems of 2008, like “Infinity 2008” from Guru Josh Project, “Rise Up” from Yves Larock and of course his famous track “South Beach” and many more. Compiled and mixed is this dedication to the beautiful party island Ibiza, from the headliner Djs Kid Chris and Abel Riballo. On two disc’s with a total of 26 Ibiza hymns, Kid Chris and Abel Riballo take their listeners on a trip through the party island of all islands. In Touch with Ibiza is the perfect compilation for every housemusic loving fan, it doesn’t matter if you are an Ibiza expert or just somebody who likes housemusic, the sampler will satisfy everybody’s desire for good music.
