Lee Haslam is one of the hard hitters in uplifting, energy-fuelled trance.
His unique combination of driving bass lines and euphoric riffs have made him one of the most well respected DJ/Producers in dance music today.
Last year Haslam had the chance to share the magic he produces on the turntables with millions of listeners around the globe when he played his first BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix. An Essential Mix is one of the highest honours that can be given to any DJ, recognising them as a leader in their field.
The release of his Resonate 4 album mid 2004 cemented Haslam as one of the biggest names in the tough trance genre. DJ Magazine gave it four out of four for its emotion fuelled delivery while Mixmag described it as the most eclectic tidy album to date.
Since his career began 7 years ago, Haslam has developed a unique style that distinguishes him from his contemporaries. His track Music is the Drug remains one of the biggest hard trance anthems in dance music. To date it has sold more than 20 thousand copies and been licensed to 15 compilations in more than seven territories around the world. Other production highlights have included remixes of Lost Tribe's 'Gamemaster' and Dumonde's 'Human'.
The energy and elevation Haslam generates through his seamless mixing and vivacious personality have seen him rock dance floors across the globe including the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Russia. He is a regular behind the decks at all of the UK's biggest clubs including Turnmills, Godskitchen, Slinky, Dance Academy and Promise.
Haslam will take his definitive sound to the masses in the Summer when he mixes a disk on the award winning Euphoria Compilation series. And with artists such as prolific trance producer Michael Splint waiting in the wings for a Haslam remix, 2005 is set to bring a new level of demand for one of dance music's true legends in the making.
