Liam Sampras is a Sydney based DJ playing the sound of quality House music. Having performed at top venues and nights such as - PACHA (IBIZA), RELEASE YOURSELF, SUBLIMINAL SESSIONS, F**CK ME, IM FAMOUS, RENAISSANCE, PURE PACHA, DEFMIX 20TH ANNIVERSARY PARTY, MN2S PRE-PARTIES (IBIZA), DEFECTED IN THE HOUSE (SYDNEY/MELBOURNE), SOUL HEAVEN (SYDNEY), HEDKANDI (SYDNEY), HOUSEXY (SYDNEY), SALTED (SYDNEY) and has supported ERICK MORRILLO, ROGER SANCHEZ, FRANKIE KNUCKLES, DERRICK CARTER, JOEY NEGRO, MIGUEL MIGS, LISA SHAW, MARQUES WATTS, JULIUS PAPP, RON CARROLL, SIMON DUNMORE, LIQUID PEOPLE, CHUCK LOVE, MATT CASELI and MISS KELLY MARIE, to name but a few. He has forged a unique style that has gained him the respect of all those who hear him play.

He began DJ'ing 6 years ago, influenced by listening to US House and Garage sounds of legendary artists such as Masters At Work, Jay J and Miguel Migs. Hooked with the desire to recreate the sensual sounding grooves of these artists in his native Sydney, he was soon taken on as resident at Sugareef Nightclub - where he was soon warming up for the biggest names in the Sydney at the legendary night "French Dressing" - the most essential Tuesday night in Sydney clubland history. The night became a staple for Sydney's industry crowd, and Liam sunk his teeth in the scene playing weekly to the city's who's-who, in this constantly road blocked night.

He has also become the DJ of choice for Australia's fashion industry. Playing parties for International fashion labels and recently playing the official after party for Sydney Fashion Week. His taste in music is making him in demand at the more sophisticated end of Sydney's club scene.

Residencies at THE LOFT and CARGO soon followed, with regular appearances at the chic settings of venues such as TANK, CHERRIJAM, DRAGONFLY, HUGO'S LOUNGE, OPERA BAR, MARS LOUNGE as well as interstate performances at Melbourne's Premier House Club ALUMBRA.

His dedication has led him to being taken on as a Resident DJ for one of Australia's most successful House nights, SHE (Soulful House Experience), and has warmed the decks for international guest headliners such as JAY J, RON CARROLL, GROOVE JUNKIES, RICHARD EARNSHAW, SPEN, BOBBY & STEVE, KARIZMA, ANDY WARD/TIMMY VEGAS (SOUL CENTRAL), MATT CASELI, JULIE MCKNIGHT, MARSHALL JEFFERSON, GROOVE ASSASSIN, AUDIOWHORES, SAMBA LA CASA, ROBERT OWENS and PAUL FARRIS. Such was the skill of his warm up for Top-10 ARIA selling artists SOUL CENTRAL at SHE's rooftop party in January 2006, Sampras was the obvious choice to take to the decks at the after party - at the world-renowned Tank Nightclub (voted top-8 venues in at the 2004/5 Global House Music Awards).

In addition to his involvement with SHE, Liam's other high-profile residencies is at the ARGYLE (Friday) and the brand new and very glamorous TRADEMARK (Saturday) in Sydney's Kings Cross. He has used this opportunity to further nurture his style of house music to an educated crowd and his adaptability behind the decks has resulted in him playing warm-up, peak-time and closing sets to an increasingly loyal following.

In 2008, Liam continues his dedication to the house sound he loves, with performances confirmed at PACHA (IBIZA), DEFECTED IN THE HOUSE, and weekly residencies and guest spots. His involvement with Ministry of Sound Radio UK (Stereo Sushi program hosted by Miss Kelly Marie) will continue, as well as studio work scheduled in for 2008. The natural step for this established Australian DJ is for further international appearances.
