Luis Groove, original from Tenerife but based in Madrid-Ibiza, started his professional career more than thirteen years ago, being considered nowadays as one of the most relevant artists from the scene in the Canary Islands.

Co-Owner and Label Manager along with Jose Armas of the canarian label 'Lowpitch', with more than three years in the market and considered by many as one of the most active and respected digital labels in the spanish electronic scene.

Actually he has residencies in 'Club 7' and 'Purple Room' in Madrid, and in the events made by promoters LegoGroup (Diamond Matinee) and Elementhal Events (Eolica Festival, Magma Meeting) in Tenerife. During the last years he's gone with his record bag through places like Ushuaia Beach Club, Privilege, Blu, El Grial, Hotel Es Vive (Ibiza), Altavoz Festival, Tag After Club (Italy), MFG Club (Berlin), The Ditch (Londres), Goa @ Fabrik, Weekend, Smile Fresh House (Madrid), Velvet, Heaven (Gran Canaria), Friends, Foc in Festival (Valencia), Life Parade (Barcelona), or Emporio, Bauhaus Cafe (Sevilla). All this, leaving behind legendary residences in Tenerife in places like 'Barock' and the afterhours-club BB+, where he left a deep mark in the whole scene, after ten years in front of the saturday nights and sunday mornings sessions.

Behind the decks, Luis Groove is eclectic, versatile and chamaleonic, basing his sets in being especially close to the audience, place and moment he's playing. His skill when fusing with elegance and effectiveness present underground electronica with oldshool classics, together with an exquisite and varied musical selection, are undoubtedly, his best weapons at the dj booth. The energy, freshness and charisma he reveals in all his sets to the dancefloor, added to a style with high doses of deep, funk and lot of groove, has got him in an unstoppable ascension in his career to the international electronic scene. More than fifteen years collecting music and his influences since he was a kid are also highly reflected in his sets, infected of the american house from Chicago-Detroit and England's 'rave' sound from the early 90's, to Germany's Techno and Brithish Tech House of the last decade, or the french touch or filtered disco.

After some good releases in 'Lowpitch' like Eolica or Snapshot Remixes (with support from Josh Wink, Loco Dice, Marco Carola, Osunlade, Tania Vulcano or Nima Gorji), Luis continues to develop his producer side, preparing new releases and remixes to be released on his own label and on others like Overall Music in the upcoming months.
