DJ/producer M_Ferri (aka Ferri Borbás) came of age as the techno wave hit the burgeoning underground club scene in the capital city of post-Wall Germany. His passion for techno dates back to 1994 as he felt the pull of early Detroit techno music by the likes of Jeff Mills, Joey Beltram and Laurent Garnier.
Four years later, M_Ferri founded the experimental techno label AUTIST. Its vision then as now: to create a platform for innovative and fresh sounding minimal electro, techno and tech house. Today the label nurtures an international roster of producer personalities such as Anna aka Boris Brejcha, Kanio, Oblivion, Niko Schwind and Chatterbox aka Christopher Manik.
M_Ferri also co-runs the Berlin-based label KASSETTE, which features techno acts including Afrilounge, Phage & Dreier (one part of PAN-POT) and Sweet’n Candy.
