After accomplishing his musical theme project with his team mates Mathieu Desaulniers, Dj Kal & Nicolas Maranda, Marco G shared this prize for the Canadian TV series 'Minuit Le Soir', thus winning an honorary Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television award, also known as 'Prix Gemaux'. This prize pushed him to persevere in his musical field.
The celebrated DJ behind the famed 'G-style', Marco Grenier's savvy selections and impeccable mixing have made him an established favorite at home and abroad. A long-time friend and collaborator of DJ Preach, Marco G shares a residency at Quebec City's prestigious Club Dagobert, where he effortlessly constructs sets of throbbing, sultry and unique funky 'G' style house that appeals to purists and thrill-seeking partygoers alike.

Marco G retains a hectic DJing schedule in his home town of Quebec, whilst satisfying the growing international demand for his productions. With a permanent home on Relic Silver, Marco G's productions have also been signed to a wide range of house labels from DJ Dan's InStereo, Patrick La Funk's home label Opaque Music, to Carl Cox's 23rd Century house label and Canada's prestigious Hi-Bias and EyezCream Recordings.

His dedication to the local scene contributed in his involvement in Quebec's most listened Eletronic Radio Show 'Euphoria' on Radio Energie where Marco offers Quebec's latest talents a chance to be heard and updates listener's with today's music.

Gaining accolades from international and local icons alike, Marco G was named as Misstress Barbara's 'best undiscovered DJ' in London's DJ Mag in 2005, and has shared the stage with the industry's biggest names: Tiesto, Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk, Deep Dish, Danny Howells, DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, Felix Da Housecat, Steve Lawler, Sasha, Digweed, Seve Angello, David Guetta, Green Velvet to name but a few.

Through seventeen years of DJing, whether playing for diehard sweat-drenched ravers or classy, wine-sipping trendsetters, Marco G has never lost his close ties to the underground. The hard, dark rhythms of the afterhours culture remain a pervasive element in both his track selection and production approach, and his open enthusiasm towards new genres, ideas, people and places has allowed his career to thrive through three decades.

Marco G's most recent releases are on DJ Dan's Instereo with the infamous house hit 'No Requests' and Opaque's 'Party On', and will be featured respectively on his first upcoming artist album scheduled for 2008/2009. On the other hand, Marco continues to release and support quality numbers on his home label Relic Silver, and collaborations for various remixes with International labels while his local base keeps growing thanks for his dedication to the constant apperance on one of Canada's biggest Dance music show Euphoria on Radio Energie in Quebec city.
