Glasgow-born/Ibiza-influenced Marcoloco has been involved in the dance industry for over a decade.

Over the last 8 years, he has solidified himself as a true Ibiza resident. Playing over 100 gigs every summer in a variety of the island's coolest hotspots. He has held a residency at his beloved club Space Ibiza for the last 4 years, showcasing all his different styles across the superclub´s varied arenas.

Marco is one of the most versatile djs in the industry today. A true specialist in several different genres ranging from chillout/downtempo to funk/disco to house and techno.

His main club style is house (anything from warm-up/deep/tech/funky to peak-time house and techno). Known for his unique technical ability and subtle flair, he enjoys playing with 4 cdjs and a djm 800/2000 turning dancefloors into complete anarchy when the time is right.

Marco has gained a massive following in Ibiza through his djing and innovative promoting. He has been promoting weekly parties @ Hush, Savannah and Es Vive Hotel under his well respected Ibiza Groove brand.  Marco was also responsible for the infamous Shipwrecked Boat Parties that took the island by storm in 2006. Every party was sold out to a religious following whilst the party won numerous workers awards. The party was unfortunately banned due to new government laws.

Over the last 8 years, Marco’s Ibiza Dj residencies have included: Space, Manumission, Eden, Es Paradis, Salinas Beach, Es Vive Hotel, Hush, Shipwrecked, Savannah and Global Radio. He has also had the pleasure of playing @: Café del Mar, Privelege, Eden, Underground, The Zoo Project, The Shit Party, Cala Conta, Las Dalias, The Grial…  (Full venues played section listed below)

Away from Ibiza, Marco has held residencies all over the world from Thailand (full moon parties) to Dubai, the U.K and the U.S.

He is also involved in production. In 2007, he was responsible for the massive remix of Heater which got hammered by Djs all over Ibiza and the U.K. Last year, he had his first major record signed to Jean Records called "The Lighthouse Effect". His first single “The Music n’ You” was immediately signed to several chillout compilations.

He made 5 new tracks in 2010 and he plans to release his first album in 2011. Watch this space...
