Marianne I, is a new DJ located in Oslo, Norway. She was born in 1979 in a small village, northwest in the country. Marianne I, has been passionate about the electronic sounds since early teenager. It was something about the harmony, sounds, rythm and beats, that made her interest average. It started at one music store, at that age she were not looking at anything especially, but she always picked up Lp's and Cd's with colorful and weird graphic- designs, felt that they could relate to the music she was looking for. She started listening and fell in love with the electronic way to express music. After years going to different clubs in Norway and in the London underground, looking with curios eyes at the dj's mixing, the satisfaction in the both DJ's and crowds eyes and with good help from friends, she decided to give it i try as hard as she could, and always search for the top and make her own style. Her kind is deeptecno with a bit of acid. In your face kind of techno. But she is still searching for the ultimate sound that is comfortable with her style and what she want to express. Its 's a journey that will never ends. 

She started to spin records in the year 2005, with good help from her DJ friend, Bartosz Cieslak. But it first started to be known among friends in late 2008. After a lot of practice the following winter she had her first unannounced set happend quite random, at one of the well known Funky Fiction parties hold at the underground venue Hausmania, (Oslo). The party were arranged late summer 2009. Her first official gig was at a closed party arranged by Jamina H, noevember 2009. Tony E (Cirka Loka), Bart Cieslak ( Perfecto & Pitch Radio), Ove Olaussen (Cirka Loka) and  Korpex (Rocketfired Music, Berlin), were the other respectable and excellent DJ's playing that night. In December 2009 she played at a underground party, called "not just another white Christmas) at the venue called "gummihjulfabrikken" also called Moloch. New years eve 2010, she had a gig together with the DJ's Tony E, Asbjørn E and Krussedull at Skansen, a well known club located in Oslo. The following winter she spend time doing research and tried to get more depht in the style she liked and what she want to represtent. In April the 15'th  2010 she had her birthday, and in that case she was so lucky to be asked if she wanted to have a gig, of a good friend, Christian Fisch (The Villa, Primal Behaviour), also residency every thursday at the wellknown and respectable club called The Villa in Oslo. That night she played  together with the super dj's Thomas Urv (Ploink) and De la Pehna.

Projects now running are a "consept" called Femme Fatales, where me and my excellet Dj friend called Faia hosts a night every second month  together at the Club Sikamikanico. Faia is be comming to be a well known name among other DJ's, producers and clubs in Oslo and other cities/ venues in Norway, and besides that she have had several gigs in different clubs and underground venues and besides that participating in many festivals spring/summer 2010. They had their first gig together at Sikamikanico (Oslo),  27'th of June and they are now having their next the 28'th and August. They main wishes is to book good female DJ's and in that way make other deeply interested techno girls-and women to give their wishes a try.
