DJ/Producer Mario Maroto started his career more than 11 years ago as a drum & bass dj. During this time he played and headlined at basically every single club in Costa Rica, including the famous Club Vertigo incalculable times. Now as a Techno and Tech-house dj and producer, he has played an impressive selection of international venues such as Skyline, the Electric Pickle, the world famous, Club Space in Miami and he recently played in Barcelona, Spain for SONAR 2010.

In the past few yeas, Mario has signed with 82 Recordings, Land of VooDoo, Half Seas Over Recordings, Killing Machine Records, SubSensory Recordings, Nude Photo Music and Logical Records from Spain. He's released twice with SubSensory, including the Salem Cat EP, one of the label's most popular releases to date.

He now resides between Portland, Oregon, San Jose, Costa Rica and Miami, Florida. His "El Mosquito Rojo", "Booty Monsters", "Rhythm Stick Remix", "Salem Cat" and "She's An Operator Remix" are all available on Beatport and all major DJ download stores.
