Markie Gee developed his eclectic style doing college radio throughout the 80’s and 90’s where he cultivated his knowledge of disco, jazz, punk, house, funk and rock. Additionally Gee distinguished himself as a taste-making writer, record reviewer and club/rave dj. Gee has been an influential resident dj in Boston, CT, Miami and NYC for over 20 years and has performed throughout North America and Europe. He has the found time to promote hundreds of events and has written about and performed with a who’s who of dance music including Roger Sanchez, Robbie Rivera,Tom Sawyer, Danny Tenaglia, Moby, Todd Terry, Josh Wink, Doc Martin, Erick Morillo, Dave Dresden, etc.

Gee maintains a substantial following in the deep house and electronic dance camps. He has a podcast on House Music Channel and guest mixes for KCRB and SS Radio UK. Gee hosts weekly spots on WTC House Radio and Intergalactic FM. Gee currently hosts Casita Wednesdays at Foundation in NYC with Davidson Ospina.
