Massimo Licari was born in 1972 in the province of Cagliari.

In the mid 80's Massimo begins to take an interest in NEW WAVE music so as to collect in a short time a broad musical background. 

He starts to work as a dj in 1998 when he took several gigs in the Cagliari's night clubs.

This leaves a sign of a new alternative music with house beat sounds and this is the primary reason for which he was taken into account by clubs owners and promoter.

Between 2001 and 2003 he improves his mixture of sounds with tech-house and electro beat, developing a completely different sounds from the other Sardinian djs.


In 2004 he created the MINIMAL HOSPITAL project with events beginning in Sardinia where the Underground movement had not yet been discovered, Massimo began to support different artists such as Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Steve Bug, Heartthrob, Troy Pierce, Guido Schneider, Davide Squillace, John Gaiser, Ryan Crosson, Alexi Delano and many others.

DOC SAX club (Turin), BROADBAR club (Barcelona), CORSICA STUDIOS club (london), LIMELIGHT club (Milan), CORONET club (London), THE HEAVEN (London) and Circoloco party (UK).
