Resident DJ to award winning club night Déjà Vu (voted Best Club Night 2007 at the Galaxy Nightlife Awards, Nominated for Club of the Year in DJ Magazine, Awarded Best Radio Show at the House Music Awards and also featured in the Top Ten UK Clubs in Magazines such as Mixmag, Muzik, Ministry and the Guide) playing along side the likes of Tim Sheridan (Veryverywrong), Ralph Lawson (2020 Vision), Jamie Jones (Cocoon/Circo Loco), Kate Lawler (Toolroom), Mistress De Funk (Circo Loco) and the Audio Bullys to name a few.

2008 saw Matt start promoting his own underground house event Koala, along with two good friends and local DJ's Jon Wafer (of Sona Sound) and Phil Wilson. Koala focuses on cool deep house vibes and tribal tech house, and has an amazing atmosphere each and everytime. The night is going from strength to strength and has now established itself as one of the most successful underground events in the city. The first in the series of Koala podcasts is also been mixed by Matt and is going to be available to subscribe to on iTunes mid April 2009!
