At the end of the 90's, Max Pérez Palma, DJ Max Pérez became interested in Techno and raves which started showing up in Chile by the early 2000's. His interest inspired him to start DJing around Southern Chile in high school and then in college. He started out spinning minimal House, Microhouse, Electro, as well as other common styles like IDM, Ambient and Clicks and Cuts.
Participating in these kind of shows inspired him to want to actually produce music and to do more live improvisation of mixing beats with sonic textures over an analogically synthesized base. Max also is working on another project as an electronic music producer under the name of "Maximo" editing his first Melodic Techno Groove tracks this year. Max is also an audiovisual specialist at the Universidad Mayor de Chile and actually Works with the distinguished videographer Víctor Ballesteros making promotional videos for his work as "Máximo" as well as preparing video clips of his best tracks for the dance floors.

Dj Max Pérez really creates a very beautiful climax in his music mixing melancholy analogical melodies with the strength of techno groove, incorporating it all with technology, loop, samplers, live set.
