Max Tkacz was a convert to the enchantment of electronic music at an
early age. Growing up in the UK (now based out of Detroit), Tkacz was
initially drawn into the realm of electronic music through dance
music, and like many others, his tastes within the genre refined
themselves with age and he soon discovered his passion for Deep House,
Tech House and Techno.
After listening to the music he loved for a few years, Tkacz decided
that he wanted to move beyond just being listener and become an active
participant in the production of electronic music. Saving up every
last cent he purchased his very first mixer and began studying the
production and DJ styles of producers he admired. Through a series of
events, founded both in persistence and chance, Tkacz found himself in
touch with the movers and shakers in the Detroit dance music scene and
was soon initiated into the world of Detroit electronic music and DJ
culture by DJ'ing local electronic music radio shows.
Though his ascension and education through the various levels of
electronic music has been rapid, the values and original principles of
the culture of which he is now a part of are not lost. Max Tkacz, at
17 years of age, is now a part of Motech Records, a collaborative of
worldwide artists whose common ground is electronic music. Blending in
perfectly with Motech's everyman image, Tkacz is ready to introduce
himself, formally of course, to the world electronic music scene.
