Mentelibre represents a backyard in one of Berlin's countless streets. Not very luxurious or even big but with equipment to spread artistically, good friends and a chunk of ideas to realize. With a huge variety of electronic music reaching from minimal-techno to chill-out and trip-hop-projects, a large bandwith emerges, which sets marks not only musically but also organisationally.

In 2005 together with Boris Bartsch he brought terminal_19 into being, both have been performing in the clubbing landskape of berlin since then.

Since 2007 Mentelibre has spent the summer in Ibiza working out musical and organizational projects together with Simon Raw.Both guys played at various locations including afterhours, catamaran-parties, different bars and clubs of the island for several months.

During the winter Berlin is the preferred base for creativity.Therefore Mentelibre spends a lot of time with people like Gustav Grube and Geschwister Schumann while working out new tracks and live-sets in the studio.

The musical styles of Mentelibre are developing in multiple directions:

From driving minimalistic techno-mixes for clubs up to hypnotizing afterhour-sounds or even acid-jazz-sessions he is offeringa huge and flexible bandwidth of music that varies by different locations, too.
