Michael Turecki, the polish-born DJ, started out behind the decks in 2000. From his
humble dance music beginnings in Heidelberg, he has slowly built a reputation in the
highly competitive DJ world through his excellent track selection, crowd interaction and
passion.
At the tender young age of 8, Michael began to collect the exciting sounds of dance
music. After 2 years of Conga lessons at the Heidelberg Music School, he was addicted
and at 14 got his first turntables to learn to DJ. Growing up Michael has been heavily
influenced by his local DJs: Move D (Source Records), Johnny D, Nick Curly
(8Bit/Cecille) and Ray Okpara (Oslo Records), also known as the Rajo Crew. Today,
this region (Mannheim-Ludwighafen-Heidelberg) where he comes from is taking over
the electronic dance scene by leading the House revolution.
Since becoming a DJ, Michael has been slowly building a reputation for himself as a
great House DJ and it is reflected by his residencies all over Germany:
Frankfurt (Monza, Break Up!)
Cologne (Stadtgarten, Art of House)
Heidelberg (Karlstorbahnhof, Pink Party)
Wolfsburg (Esplanade, House Mafia)
As Michael’s successes continue to grow his music still remains deeply rooted in House
music because of the positive vibes it can evoke. Michael is excited for what the future
holds and continues to lead the House revolution the best way he knows how—from the
DJ booth.
