Miniminds are a Northern Ireland based techno music duo, comprised of Gary Dickenson and Stephen Garrett. Formed in 2007 this duo's DJing and production skills have gone from strength to strength.

They explore a wide range of new and exciting sounds together from the underground world of techno music. Gripped by artists and DJ's such as Richie Hawtin, Len Faki, Adam Beyer, Paul Ritch, Joseph Capriati, Dubfire, Marco Carola and Joris Voorn. They have combined all sounds and produce and play music that has a distinctive style and sound of its own.

With a large fan base in Northern Ireland supporting them at regular local gigs and Mr C helped put their mark on the Ibiza scene in the summer of 2007 when he played their debut tune (Miniminds) in the infamous club DC10. Little did this talented pair realise that this would be the tune that was set to define them and gain them recognition.

When watching the pair DJ together it goes without saying that they really do know how to work the crowd and keep them wanting more. As a clubber you are kept interested and on your toes as it is not one but two DJ's that are playing to you.

Since the beginning of this year the two have watched the success of their tracks grow at an enormous rate and are increasingly finding themselves being asked to do more and more remixes for labels whilst working on their own productions. With releases out on FLING RECORDINGS, HEDGEHOG RECORDS, 8 SIDED DICE RECORDING, DATA RECORDS, ACIITONE, MIJA RECORDINGS and future releases on Umek's Label 1605 MUSIC THERAPY. These have been getting regular support from DJs such as Len Faki, Laurent Garnier, Stephan Bodzin, Dubfire, Carl Cox, Marco Bailey, Tony Rios, Joey Beltram, Dave Robertson, Mistress Barbara, Alan Fitzpatrick, Slam, Tiefschwarz, Joseph Capriati, Danton Eeprom, Lee Burridge, Joel Mull, Sian, Umek, James Zabeila, Ewan Pearson, Mauro Picotto and Radio one airplays, guest Radio mixes, numerous top magazine reviews and a recent Juno and Beatport Techno top 100.

As their calendar fills up with regular bookings in Ireland and also recently being made Residents of SHINE & THE STIFF KITTEN, playing alongside big Artists such as Len Faki, Stephan Bodzin, Mauro Picotto, Paul Ritch, Josh Wink, Luke Dzierzek, Phil Kieran, Redshape and Psycatron, this is a DJ act that you should not take your eye off for one second in 2009. With so many more productions in the pipeline and endless amounts of fresh ideas, drive and ambition it is without a doubt that Miniminds will be blowing the minds of clubbers around the world in the near future!
