Miss Nine aka Kristin Schrot was born in 1984 in East Germany. She began her young career as a nurse in a hospital. Besides being a nurse she also competed in a national modeling contest. And she won! After that her live completely changed. Nowadays she's living in Amsterdam where she’s a dj, a model and has her own fashion column in Glamcult Magazine.
MissNine
Miss Nine started to spin records at the age of 18. It only took her three months to get her first gig on Queensday. After this gig she was asked to play at a Motion party in the Muziekfabriek in Amsterdam. It was a succesful performance. Since then she is resident dj at the Motion parties.

Sound
The sounds of Miss Nine can be best described as energetic grooves with a lot of vocals. She also likes to play a little deeper, close to progressive, it depends on the location, crowd and atmosphere.

Gigs
Miss Nine already played with big names like SisterBliss, Kevin Saunderson, Layo & Bushwaka, James Zabiela, Behrouz, Hybrid, Derrick May, Jack de Marseille, Ken Ishii, John Digweed and many more. In 2003 she did a tour throughout Curaçao and Aruba, with a superb performance on the famous Mambo Beach. She also performed at Dance Valley in 2004 and 2005, where she was the youngest artist. This summer she did a tour through five cities in China. Vocalist Lex Empress joined her on this tour.

Productions
Miss Nine also has her own studio together with dj Sem Sonic. They are working on a few tracks together. There will be a track finished very soon.
