hello, and welcome to mojiito`s page, buddies. thanks for visiting and thanks for your interest in my music, my label(s) or just in myself. but let’s get a few things shout out. spinning records since the late 90s - yes, i was the one who invented “electro_nouveau” & hosted heidelberg`s most successful party series (& record label) for over 7 years. yes, same with “weightless”, “plus+”, “partymonsters”, “dance today | raveolution tomorrow”, “yeah:disko”, “househalt”, “silk” etc. etc. etc..

yes i worked or played with (for whatever reason this should be interesting) westbam, zombie nation, fritz kalkbrenner, richard bartz, stephan bodzin, play paul, popof, oliver huntemann, electrixx, markus lange, lady waks, hardy hard, tube & berger, robert babicz, alex q, mollono.bass...blablabla., not to forget about lots of other projects & thousands of dj gigs all over... and who knows what's coming next ?

ahhh – and yes, i`m somewhat quite oldschool and i like it. simply because i like the soulful electronic wildstyle without stereotyped thinking. a warm, soulful but groovy mix of house, techhouse & techno. and yes, i still like the culture of vinyl and record shopping and maybe i like the way of the dinosaur with all the crackling noises and dirty sleeves as well as instead of getting everything on demand. maybe that`s also a reaction against the mindless hipster bullshit that excretes itself from mtv, music press and the radio, the desire to follow trends, the idea of lifestyles you can buy into.

ok, that’s cleared up. about upcoming projects & releases: feel free to check out all the releases of my label “yeah:disko records” – we still keep it coming! and finally (to make it short): there`s “[pure*]”! the subheadline says it all: “pure party for pure people” or let`s say it with shakespeare: “once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more”! a travelling circus of related artists – djs, visual artists, music lovers, performance artists….starting with an open air series..we`ll have a lot nice things up to come! maybe i`m still on a mission, or maybe again - we all need heroes. and remember: it's all about heart's blood & passion, isn't it ? take care in this shark-bassin.
