To this end he has subsequently been instrumental in both developing and boldly highlighting Australia's claim on the international scene's proverbial map. Nathan's standout DJ talent (a zest of skillful vibrant programming and clever harmonic mixing) has lead to bookings directly alongside an incredible selection of contemporary greats and originating house music legends on multiple occasions including Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Steve Silk Hurley, Joey Negro, DJ Heather, Miguel Migs, Roy Davis Jnr to name but a few. Not only does Nathan play with this calibre of artist in Australia, but he regularly travels internationally to which more recently include headlining and performing shows with Lovebirds, Fred Everything, Vincenzo, Mr.V, iSoul8 and Restless Soul's Phil Asher. Repeat DJ Peformances at international venues include include Dragon-I in Hong Kong, Nikki Beach In Ibiza, The Egg in London, Mighty in San Francisco, Plus a host of leading festivals including in his home country including Main Stage at Summerdayze New Years Day Festival. Certainly worth a mention is a very successful National Tour for Ministry of Sound to accompany Nathan's top selling exclusive mix cd for the brand, which went on to sell an impressive 30,000 cd copies in Australia. A highly respected, hyper-motivated and professional performer, Nathan is a rare breed of talent - and one that thrives on the pressure and demands of playing a pivotal role in the fabric and future of global house music. Rich in enthusiasm and intuition, Nathan's positive energy is central to producing the records he makes & is evident throughout all facets of the recording process and the people he works with. His innate understanding of sonics, underground rhythms, expanding knowledge of jazz theory & structure all assist his talent for writing engaging melodies & lyrics and continue to navigate his mighty message wide and far. Recent songwriting sessions & studio collaborations with vocalists such as Byron Stingily (Ten City), Dajae, Alexander East, Lyric L, Heidi Vogel (Cinematic Orchestra), Cecilia Stalin and Lisa Shaw are a further testament to Nathan's evolution not only as a producer and remixer, but as an accomplishing songwriter, artist and musician to listen out for. Movin'on up, last years leap back to the future proved very successful. Alongside his imprint Luvbug Recordings (which continues to create buzz), Nathan's essential piano cut '88 Keys To Love' reached number 1 on traxsource, and was voted in the top ten best House Releases of the year, most notably championed by Defected head Simon Dunmore, casting this as his number 1 tune for 2010. When it comes to discerning sounds, be it Chicago, Detroit or his Disco influenced productions, this Melbourne resident has a high class stream of EP's and single releases that are consistantly striking a chord with a host of the scene's most influencial DJ's and artists from around the world. Recent support for Nathan's quality deepness has come from Shur-i-kan, Llorca, Jimpster and Scope right through to Lawnchair Generals, Iz & Diz, Giom and Inland Knights, a remarkable sign of Nathan's presence in the current international soundscape. A tour of the USA also sparked a signing from legendary Mark Farina, eluding to Nathan's first foray into the downtempo world 'Colorblind', gaining a highly sought after place on his latest offering Mushroom Jazz 7. Nathan promises to push his own take and perspective forward with his full length artist album 'The Glow' due on Large music in October 2011.
