Patch Park

The past several years have been an amazing voyage for Patch Park, playing his Techno minded sets at leading clubs such as The Loft (ES), Paradiso (NL), Ministry Of Sound (UK) and Space Terrace (USA), Amnesia (ES) and renowned festivals such as Dance Valley, Nature One, Solar and Extrema Outdoor. The last mentioned festival has left a big impact on Patch Park. This year he was invited by Dave Clarke to play at his White Noise area after delivering a huge remix for his classic techno anthem “Wisdom To The Wise (Red 2)”. When the British Techno legend himself dropped Patch Park’s remix later that night again, the 7.500 people area really exploded, delivering a goose bump moment never to forget.

In the studio times are quite exciting as well. After a long history of making tracks in his own home studio his efforts did not get unnoticed and it didn’t take long before leading DJs such as Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, John Digweed and Dave Clarke discovered Patch Park’s unique sound. His talent, also did not get unnoticed by the industry’s leading labels such as “Renaissance”, Shlomi Aber’s “Be As One Imprint” and Dutch colleague Darko Esser’s label “Wolfskuil Records”. All in all so far it has been a pleasant ride and things are looking good for the future as well. With various releases lined up such as “Oddity” which will be released later this year on Be As One, and collaborations with other artists such as Joeri Jamison with whom he wrote the track “Threshold”, scheduled to be released on Renaissance this August.

Also on the DJ front, things are sounding great for Patch Park after he joined Extrema Music in Holland, which gave his career a nice boost and enabled him to play more often with class acts such as Joris Voorn, Dave Clarke, Adam Beyer, Slam, Edwin Oosterwal, Len Faki, DJ Remy to name a few. With al these nice things lined up, 2009 is bound to be yet another great year for Patch Park.
