DJ SoulSista is from Pretoria Capital City of South Africa.


The 1st time she put a needle on the record she knew this was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life MUSIC. 

The year 2001 is where it all started, she moved to Ayia Napa Cyprus to perfect, her basic self-taught mixing skills. She Played Beach Parties for minimum wage, moving onto club events shortly after, played Club Black & White opening act, her music style has evolved over the years from Old School HipHop in the earlier years to house music not long after her return from Cyprus.
Whether a small intimate venue, a major clubbing institution or a big stage, the way SoulSista interacts with the crowd proves she was literally born to be a DJ, it’s the most important aspect in creating energy on the dance floor. SoulSista has a strong unwavering passion for EDM.

Her impeccable tune selection combined with a charismatic and energetic personality landed her a weekly slot on Metro FM Friday nights 9 -10pm “The Smirnoff Experience Dance Mix Show” where she interviewed her favorite artists, and exhibited her passion for music ranging from underground house to deep soulful vocal tracks The Chicago House movement was huge at the time.

In 2004 saw her release her first highly acclaimed mixed compilation “Music is my High” with exclusive tracks from various known and unknown dj's and producers like Miguel Migs, Reel People, Sam & Gigi, Kaskade, Audiowhores & DJ Christos to name a few.

Also released on this compilation “Music is my high” her 1st single she did the songwriting & composing & co Produced with Sisco & Tasha Baxter on vocals.

She has worked with MTV Base Africa and Ministry of Sound SA weekly mixes for Radio Shows. Defected in the House Launch in SA, Corporate Clients like Apple, BMW & Audi SA

SoulSista transformed the stores of Levi'sTM South Africa into a dance floor where she mixed the compilation album for the brand.
She has played alongside Various International DJ's Franck Roger, Rocco (Paris) Luke Solomon (UK) to name a few.

During the FIFA World Cup 2010 SoulSista was the South African DJ host covering the FIFA Fan Fests all over making the world crowd’s dance. 

Looking ahead, SoulSista will continue to conquer the dance music world with a new compilation out later this year and more productions to follow, about to release a remix for Lindiwe Suttle’s “Twilght” she remixed with Sisco Umlambo and it will be released on Lindiwe’s debut Album “Kamikaze Art”

When SoulSista is in the house, you’ll be swept right off the African dance floors and taken to the sunny Cancun/Ibiza Beach shores.

With her energy behind the decks and an infectious style of DJing, it’s hard to stand still when she is on the decks, keep a close eye on this lady, she is constantly working and on-the-go and as one of SA’s most recognized female DJs, SoulSista epitomizes the sound of SA’s EDM scene it’s vibrancy and unique sound.
