Ste Roberts is one of the brains behind two of the UK's coolest underground music labels. Hypercolour and Glass Table. With Alex Jones, Jamie Russell and Ryan Hope, Ste has being responsible for shaping the sound and feel of both of these fuckers into absolute monsters, because of his, and their, absolute penchant for quality. It's as simple as that.

He started out being the go to man for quality in Leeds legendary record outlet, Tribe Records. Supplying the likes of Ralph Lawson, Simon Baker, Paul Woolford, along with whoever else was playing at Back To Basics, Technique or Asylum (including Magda, Jon Tejada, Doc Martin amongst shiploads of others), their weekend weapons, the boy knew his shit. Also recognised as the cities most understated DJ, he eventually began to frequent playing at all the cities major parties, alongside heavyweights such as Michael Mayer, The Orb, Dominik Eulberg, Jimmy Edgar, LFO, Radioslave and Maurice Fulton. He then went on to run Immigrant Records with Robin Porter for a few years, releasing more quality shit, before moving on to run Hypercolour and Glass Table.

These days, Ste's reputation as a DJ is second to none, being a frequent jock at London's best parties, including the likes of Lo Kee, DDD and up until recently, was resident at the musical institution that is T Bar, meaning both of them. You don;t hold a two year residency there unless you know how to move a fucking dancefloor. One thing Ste Roberts certainly knows how to do.

With his first release as producer, "Clean Air", out on MagicBag in May 2010, already smashing the fuck out of the ratings, and upcoming gigs at the WeLove parties at Space, Ibiza, Ste is destined for a big year, as label boss, DJ and producer. Ste also loves partying....but.....which label boss/DJ/producer/schmoozer fucking doesn't?...
