This is enough to explain Taster Peter's approach to Techno and gives you an idea about his legendary sultry live performances who brought him to general attention trough 2009 as one of the brightest pure talents emerging from the fizzy italian techno scene; but let's have a little step back...
Taster Peter was born in Genova and raised in Livorno, Italy. Being raised in a musical family he played the violin and later on changed to guitar and double bass. After years he decided to start with the drums.

His drummer career started at 16 and for 10 years he has been the drummer of "Taster's Choice": a cultish italian Metal/Indie/Punk band, on their back 2 albums released and licensed worldwide plus a countless list of live shows.
While he was treading the drums heavy and heavier, our TP feeded his interest and love with electronic music: The Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Air, Daft Punk, FatBoySlim, Basement Jaxx where sitting next to this metal/rock heroes in his Ipod and they never left since. The step to production unavoidable, at 16 TP with his first fruity loops software was jamming his early breaks // house // techno tunes.

Nowdays TP has build up his own inimitable twisted electronic sound: full made of energy, influenced by all things rock (or rockin'), not scary of the recent poor loopy trends but always aimed to create proper anthemic big room monsters. This attitude won the love of some the best DJs in the world like James Zabiela, Mauro Picotto, Christian Smith, Dave Seaman while Umek, Oliver Koletzki, Christian Fischer and Marco Bailey asked him to lend his magic touch for some remix works.

After early acclaimed releases on labels like Tronic, Autist, Mantra Vibes and Evolution, TP has found his main home-base at infamous Hell Yeah Recordings, fellow italians and same open-minded attitude, the masterplan? A series of singles and Eps through 2010 and TP first album for early 2011, if it wan't enough there will be some exclusive one-off releases trough the coolest labels in the world... stay tuned.

Did we mention TP's sultry incendiary live sets right? As live performer he regularly visits & shakes venues in Berlin, Ibiza, Barcelona, London, Vienna, all booking him back for extra madness.
