Having grown up in a small village in Southern Italy, Andrea Grasso, 23, is considered to be an actual talent in the flourishing European minimal house scene.
In 2005, after moving to Bologna, the counting number of successful live and studio session consecrated him as a true precursor of sweet and mental sounds, combining percussive grooves, powerful bass lines and forward thinking beat elements strongly influenced by Afro and Latin sounds.
After having released a bounce of tracks and toured all over Europe via Finland, Germany, Spain, Iceland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland and of course Italy, he decided to move to techno capital Berlin in 2008 to continue developing his music.
There he immediately was signed to Resopal Schallware and within a few months, released three very impressive EPs and a remix for Brendon Moeller (which was very highly acclaimed).
Today, his works are favored and played out by djs like: Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Dj Koze, Robag Whrume, Loco Dice, Mathias Kaden, Tobi Neumann, Wolf + Lamb, Onur Ozer, Ilario Alicante, Someone Else, Brendon Moeller, and Danny Fiddo to name a few.
Look out for upcoming EPs by UES as released through his home label Resopal and the hot new Dutch label Bla Bla, headed by Daniel Sanchez.
