With an eclectic taste for mixing Latin, Afro-beat, Nu- Jazz, Soulful House, Raw Funk, Sweet Soul, Roots and Ballads VanJee has managed to maintain a reputation and deep respect within in the underground music world but continues to cross over and educate new audiences that there lies an inherent power in music that has the ability to lift the individual spirit and create a collective communal bond. Over the years VanJee has become recognized as one of the finest technical DJs with a vast following of international fans, and a reputation among his peers in the industry as one of the most humble and talented DJ / Producers in the Global Electronic House Music Scenes. Israeli native but NYC import and resident since 1997 Vanjee has been hailed and one of New York’s leading electronic music DJ’s. For over a decade he held residencies in New York Cities most reputable nightlife venues such as Life, Pangaea, Kit Kat Club and Pink Elephant, where he also served as musical director. As well as, Provocateur and Pacha NewYork. Internationally his fans have followed him to renowned nightclubs such as, Space in Miami, Stereo in Montreal, Play House in Los Angeles, Liv in Miami, Tao and Tao Beach in Vegas, Pacha in Barcelona and Alenbi 58 in Tel Aviv, Blue Marlin in Ibiza and cities like Punta Del Este, Venice, Rio, London and Music Festivals such as WMC, Burning Man and BPM. Vanjee has performed alongside some of the industry’s most prestigious names including, David Morales, Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Behrouz, Dub Fire, Sharam, Felix the House Cat, John Digweed and Carl Cox. In 2003, his DJ talent earned him a personal invitation from Puff Daddy, to play his birthday celebration at the Royal Palace in Morocco.
