Edward first started playing DJ sets in Spain in 1998 for a local radio station and sponsored events. His sets inspired the dance floors by creating a bridge between House, Progressive and Break Beat.
Besides playing the local circuit and his after-hour’s residency, he also had the pleasure of playing alongside many international Deejays
during the celebrated Carnival events that the exotic island of Tenerife hosts every year.
In the year 2000 he completed a sound engineering course in Barcelona where he began to discover his fascination for music production and creation. Looking to expand his horizons and find alternative ways to be involved in music, he moved back to London. Once there, he established himself at Outer Recordings as coordinator and official label DJ.
Recently he has concentrated his time solely on his productions, working in his studio in the Canary Islands. His Productions are entirely his own compositions. Through his lyrics, Ed delightfully shares with us his life experience.
Ed says: “All of my songs reflect lessons, aspects of my life which most of us go through at one point or another in time. Writing these songs has helped me to release and overcome situations where I was feeling lost or stuck. It’s been kind of a catharsis for me. I think there is no stronger medium for healing than music and this is specially so of music that you can dance to and just let go.”
February 2009 has seen Ed flow’s first release entitled “Peace my friend", E.P released by Black Mamba Records. This release contains two of Ed’s tracks; Peace my friend and Are we so conditioned? which are set to become strong contenders as a choice for a DJ’s box.
Watch out for this upcoming Producer’s forthcoming album release “I came for the music” consisting of ten original tracks around late April this year additional mixes will be available a month later.
